Dr Alif Moosajee is the Award winning principal dentist at Oakdale Dental, a specialist dental practice in Leicester, and is also the author of the book 'The Smiling Dentist' a jargon-free book for patients about clinical dentistry.
Alif Qualified at Birmingham University in 2004.
He has a particular interest in dental implants and CEREC and merging those two interests to fabricate implant guides in house and provide a fully digital workflow for his implant patients. Alif lectures extensively on this topic. He is also a study club director for the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and for Dentinal Tubules
Alif regularly makes appearances on BBC TV and Radio and on Channel 5 commenting on topical dental issues. After writing his book, he continues to put pen to paper writing regularly for dental magazines 'The Probe' and 'Dentistry' and has had articles published in ‘Implant Dentistry Today’.
Alif was awarded Best Young Dentist UK and won the Fast Track 4 award in 2016 and was Highly Commended Best Young Dentist at the Dentistry Awards 2015. He was also a finalist at the National Dental Awards in 2015 and 2016 in the Best Young Dentist category.

My name is Daniel Dunka. I was born and raised in the Czech Republic then moved to the USA when I was 12. After graduating high school at sixteen I started working at a family owned dental lab. At the age of 25 I moved back to the Czech Republic and got a job at an upscale and progressive dental lab. I was introduced to CAD/CAM about 3 years ago. Then I met Dr. Kunkela 2 years ago and have been closely collaborating with him on Cerec and CAD/CAM. I’ve been a Sirona certified trainer since 2013. I now for directly for Dr. Kunkela as his in-house lab tech and I’m still excited as ever to be working with the most progressive and innovative part of dentistry out there.

Devaughn has worked in the health industry for 16 years - 12 of which specifically as a technician, or in the capacity of Director of Highland Dental Lab.
Seeing, and anticipating the morphing dental landscape, modernisation began at Highland 10 years ago with the acquisition of their first in - house milling unit. Since that time, no other lab or practice in Canada has created more restorations with their Sirona MCXL than Highland. Ten years later, th e lab is truly state of the art with multiple scanners, mills, and a 3D model printer.
Not to be overshadowed by equipment, Devaughn has received advanced design certificates from Sirona and Vita. Further, he is numbered amongst a lucky few that are ‘inLab Trainers for Trainers’, certified and instructed in Germany and Italy.
Devaughn self identifies as a ‘tooth nerd’ and can be found immersed in a dental publication or tinkering with his dental ‘toys’. Beyond that, Devaughn is an avid outdoorsmen, rugby fanatic and suffers from a congenitally defective sense of humor.

Dr O’Connell received her dental degree from University of Edinburgh in 1992. She has run her own private dental practice in Edinburgh for over 20 years.
She has received her MFGDP and FFGDP from the Royal College of Surgeons London and her Diploma of Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. She is currently the committee member for Scotland on the Association of Dental Implantology board.
In 2014, Dr O’Connell won a UK business award from Software of Excellence as well as winning Best Overall Practice in Scotland. In 2015, her practice won Best Patient Care award.
She has been using Cerec technology since 2008, and believes the increased success of her practice has much to do with the implementation of digital dentistry within the practice.

Lino Adolf was born and raised in South Africa. He grew up and followed his university education in Portugal, where he obtained in 1998 the Bachelor Degree in Dental Technology and later in 2002 the Degree in Dental Technology - fixed prosthodontics. He developed his technical education in fixed prosthodontics until today.
Between 1998-2006 he was teaching at CESPU University, fixed prosthodontics and lab orthodontics. During that time he also worked as a Dental Technician doing crown & bridge and implant work at CDI and Dental Creations.
In 2001 he became Victor Hugo do Carmo's - Oral Design International (Switzerland) - Protégé
He opened his own laboratory in the UK in 2006, where he started working as Self-employed and then changed to Majestic Smile Ltd in 2011.

Rudolph's career in dental technology began in 2001 when he started studying and simultaneously working in dental laboratories. He opened his own laboratory in 2007, which he successfully owns and operates.
After working closely with dentists on different systems, he joined the Sirona family in 2015 and became a trainer in 2016.
He is very passionate about the dental industry and focuses on new technology and pushing the boundaries of dental technology. Digital dentistry became a big part of running his general laboratory and is improving every aspect of his daily workflow.
ULRICH NIEUWENHUIS - UK

Ulrich qualified in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1993 and in 1994 he achieved his higher diploma winning the award for Ceramist of the Year. He went on to work in a crown and bridge laboratory in Cape Town before moving to the UK.
Ulrich have since been involved in all aspects of dental technology over his career and since 2003 has run his own successful dental Laboratory specialising in aesthetic dentistry, first in Berkshire before relocating to Somerset in 2012.
His passion or the art of dentistry is what drives him to continue to strive for perfection, and throughout his career Ulrich has attended courses delivered by some of the top technicians in the industry. Ulrich keeps himself up to date with the latest developments in aesthetic and digital dentistry by attending regular further training in Lichtenstein, Germany and the UK.
His laboratory became one of the first Sirona InLab laboratories. He has been working with CAD/CAM since 2004 and with the Sirona inLab system since 2008. Recently he also became an InLab trainer for Dentsply Sirona in the UK. His laboratory forms part of an aesthetic dental practice which he owns with his wife who is a cosmetic dentist. In a normal day Ulrich enjoys working closely with dentists, his colleagues and patients for custom shade matching to help achieve better aesthetic results
SIMON CHARD - UK

Simon Chard BDS(Hons) BSc(Hons) qualified with Honours from King's College London Dental Institute.
He was awarded the prestigious Academy of Operative Dentistry Award given to the top student in the year for clinical dentistry, as well as receiving awards for root canal therapy and aesthetic dentistry. In 2015 he was voted the Best Young Dentist in London and also the overall Best Young Dentist in the UK at the prestigious Dentistry Awards.
Simon is chairman of young membership for the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and has a strong focus towards achieving optimal aesthetic results utilising minimally invasive techniques. Simon is a rising star in the field of cosmetic dentistry and is a big promoter of the digital revolution within this field.
He has lectured to hundreds of dentists on the use of CEREC technology in restorative dentistry and is also a certified CEREC Ortho trainer, facilitating the integration of CEREC with orthodontic appliances such as Invisalign.
Simon is an avid photographer and lectures nationally on the art and science of macro dental photography.
